Description: Sabanci University is one of Turkey’s leading research universities. We are offering a one year (renewable) postdoctoral position in the field of Molecular Immunology/Chromatin Regulation. The candidate will work in Associate Professor Batu Erman’s laboratory in the Biological Sciences and Bioengineering Program, supported by an FP6 RTN on Chromatin Plasticity. Excellent benefits, career guidance from network co-supervisors and support for attending network retreats are available. Our group focuses on chromatin and gene regulation during immune system development, protein-protein interactions, and T lymphocyte signal transduction.
Qualifications: The candidate must have a PhD degree. Expertise in the fields of molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, cancer biology or biochemistry is welcome. Extensive experience with molecular biology, human cell culture, FACS, real-time PCR, or fluorescent microscopy is an advantage.
