Postdoctoral Fellow Statistician - Bioinformatician

Description: Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellow position jointly funded by the German Research Council and the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in München.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the groups of the Collaborative Research Center ‘Chromatin’ in München on the mining, analysis, integration and interpretation of genome-wide protein interaction and gene expression data (derived from ChIP-chip, ChIP-seq and Affymetrix experiments) and is expected to develop own research interests.
He/she will join a small team at the Molecular Biology Unit of the Adolf-Butenandt-Institute, which is situated in the inner city of Munich.
Qualifications: We are looking for an experienced statistician with a keen interest in answering questions revolving around gene regulation in the chromatin context.
Salary Details: Payment is according to the Federal payment scheme (E13). Funding is initially available for up to four years.
