Job Description
Postdoc position on histone demethylation in lineage commitment
- IFOM-IEO-Campus, Milan, Italy
Description: The laboratory of Stem Cell Epigenetics invites applications for a postdoctoral candidate with a strong interest and solid background in mouse and stem cell biology.
The focus of the lab is on the epigenetic mechanisms that enable the establishment and maintenance of lineage choices. We use mice and mouse embryonic stem cells as model systems to study histone lysine methylation and demethylation during lineage commitment.
The successful candidate will characterize the in vivo function of histone demethylases using a range of highly innovative mouse models that were recently established in the lab.
Qualifications: MD or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics or Biochemistry with a solid background in the analysis of gene expression. Expertise in mouse biology using both in vivo and in vitro approaches is highly desirable.
We are looking for a highly motivated scientist who shares our passion for cutting edge research in epigenetics and wishes to join an interactive team with a multidisciplinary experimental approach.
